Happy Thanksgiving to all Foster Children out there!

I just want to leave a quick introduction and message for you guys.

I know this period of the year is a very tough period for some of you, holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Some of you feel so much loneliness, there is no sense of belonging. I know what you feel because I was there too. I was a foster child, born in Brazil with a very tough childhood. No Christmas, no thanksgiving, no family gathering, no mom or dad, it was a complete mess sometimes. I felt lonely for the majority of my childhood and youth because I had no place to go and no family to rely on, there was a time that I did not have a pillow to put my head on and when I laid my head down I did not feel safe. So, this thanksgiving I just want to give you some tips on how to make this better for you. The tips are more like examples of what I did when I realized no one was coming to save me, I had to do something.

I started to take action.
Instead of being home alone and feeling miserable and blaming others for my misfortune, I reached out to people in need.
I invited some friends to gather and had each bring some food and nice music, this way I built a small community to celebrate the holidays together.
I went to church events.
My invitation is for you to become or create what you are missing.
If you want a family, break the mess of your childhood and build a family to be your own family.
Parent yourself by learning from people that did the same, and leave a legacy.
Become a coach for foster children if you want.
If you don't know there is a huge number of foster children around the world that broke the cycle and became what they were missing. They built strong families.
So, get your mess and turn it into a message as Dean Graziosi said.

So, here is what I want to tell you, I became a better version of myself and you can do too, you can overcome your trials, you can have a better life, and live in the present thinking a year from now what you want to happen in your life, I urge you to build a community of foster children. Don't be too much in the past, you cannot change it. I know I will never be able to change the past and all the homes and places where I was misunderstood and mistreated. But I decided to build my future by taking massive actions in the present. So my friends, a year from now I wish and hope you guys will become a strong message to the world and prove to the world that you are not what happened to you in the past.
I love you and I'm thankful for you, and I wish you a happy thanksgiving from the bottom of my heart. You are my family of foster children like me, you have a place in the world, Know it!
